National Pharmaceutical Conference


A national conference was organized on the premises of Ganpati Institute of Pharmacy, Bilaspur, Yamunanagar. The conference was based around the Theme “Future Focus on Achieving Excellence in Pharmacy Education and Research”


Around 320 researchers, academicians, scholars and students participated in the event and shared their views and ideas for the future scenario of pharma profession.


The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest, Dr. Gajindra Singh, Dean/ Faculty of Pharma Sciences, Pt B.D.S University, Rohtak with the enlightening of ceremonial lamp. He enlighted the theme of the conference and responsibilities of pharma professionals in pharma sector to achieve excellence in their professions.


Chairman Mr. Narender Bindra, welcomed the invited chief guest, keynote speakers and delegates in the inaugural session of the conference. He said that these types of conferences provide a platform to scientists related to pharmacy profession, students, and academicians set together and share their views about new developments in pharmacy.


In the scientific session, Dr. A.K. Madan (Pt B.D.S University, Rothak) Dr. R.P. Kapoor (Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy, Yamunanagar), Dr. Virender Singh Bhardwaj (Himachal institute of Life Sciences, Ponta Sahib) shared their research finding and opinions on various topics to inculcate the knowledge of conference delegates.


Director, Prof. Jagmohan Oberoi, emphasized the values of such events for the all around development of pharmacy professionals and makes them well equipped with the pharma profession’s responsibilities of accepting new challenges in research sector. He shared their views about the fast development of pharmaceutical industries in India.


About 105 research and review papers were presented by the delegates from various parts of India like Rajasthan, Karnataka, Patiala, Punjab, U.P, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Himachal Pardesh etc. Pranjul from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshtera got 1st prize, Ravinder from Ganpati Institute of Pharmacy, Bilaspur got 2nd prize and Ravinder Singh student of Swift College of Pharmacy, Rajpura got 3rd prize in the paper presentation. Sh. Subhash Gaur, General Secretary, Ganpati Group of Institutions distributed the prizes to winners. He congratulated all the participants and winners.


Conference convener, Mr. Navneet Syan loaded the vote of thanks to all the dignitaries for their pro active efforts and professional contribution in the conference.
