It is one of the most happening clubs of Ganpati and works with the sole objective of providing a platform where theory meets the real world. Academic concepts are practically applied and an intensive exposure is provided to real time complex business situations with the help of specially designed case studies and interaction with Industry experts.
This club strives to keep the students updated with the latest happenings in the arena of Marketing by organising Quizzes, case studies, presentations, Group Discussions and guest lectures from experts. The Club does not restrict itself to pure marketing events but also with those creative events that would force the students to develop a lateral thinking. The Club is committed to help students become the best in their domain.
Finance Club:
It exists to stimulate logical thinking and spread awareness in the area of Finance and Economics, and to provide opportunities to put theoretical foundations to practice. The vision of this club is to help MDI students create an edge by demonstrating superior knowledge and grasp of things. Each of the activity performed by the club is a step towards this shared goal. Following is a brief overview of our activities.
HR Club:
The HR club at GANPATI aims to create interest among students towards Human Resources and works towards strengthening tie ups with Corporates and renowned HR GURUs in order to help students gain insights into the latest development of HR. The Club facilitates live projects, works on increasing corporate interaction and brain-storming on current issues in the area of Human Resources.
Literary Club:
The Literary Club at GANPATI has been formed with a mission to provide a voice to human expression. The Club motivates the students to express themselves in different avenues of their discretion in order to achieve excellency. The forte of the Club is extremely vast and includes:
- Debating & Public Speaking
- Paper presentations & Group discussions
The Club encourages students to participate in different competitions and events in their interest area and strives to promote talent in the institute.
Web Committee:
The Web Committee acts as an interface between Students, Clubs, faculty and Industry and responsible for all IT initiatives at the institute.
The Web Committee at GANPATI’s is responsible for the following:
- Maintenance of Web Site and student portal.
- Maintenance of the Wireless-Fidelity (Wi-Fi) in the campus.
- Maintenance of the overall IT infrastructure.
- Providing technical support to the student fraternity at GANPATI’s
Hobbies Club:
The competitive academic environment and co-curricular activities on campus keep the students on their toes. But everyone needs some time off, to relax and recharge . Hobbies Clubs at GANPATI’s are the best place for this. The students' clubs: the Hobbies club, the U.G. club, the P.G. club, the Alaknanda club and the Jawahar club house the indoor sports facilities including seven Billiards & Snooker Tables, Carrom boards, Chess boards, Table Tennis facilities and a Foosball table. The hobbies club also has sections devoted to pursuits like star-gazing, philately and numismatics, and robotics. The clubs also have reading rooms with a plethora of newspapers and light magazines. Each of the clubs have a TV room with a seating capacity of a hundred-odd people providing a great atmosphere for watching the winning sixer or the not-so-interesting soap operas.
